A number of special services are offered to GVEA members and most of them are free for the asking! Simply call or write for details.
For options 1 and 2, e-mail or call us for an application form. With options 1 and 2, we will still mail you a monthly statement at least ten days before the payment is processed. Learn more about option 3 at GV E-Bill. You'll never have to write or mail another check or miss another payment while out of town. Call 452-1151 and ask for Auto Pay for additional information.
Any tree that is growing into a power line or at risk of falling into a power line is a danger tree. If you have a danger tree on your property, please call GVEA's Operations Department at 452-1151. If the tree is found to be hazardous, GVEA will be happy to remove it at no cost. Under no circumstances should you attempt to trim or remove danger trees yourself - the result could be damage to the Co-op's facilities or serious injury or death.

Certain areas on GVEA's system use underground electrical lines. Members installing fence posts or burying fuel tanks may be in for a serious shock. Avoid the risk of electrocution; if you are planning any excavation, call GVEA's Operations Department at 452-1151. Give us 24 hours notice, and we will locate buried primary lines for you at no charge.

GVEA has three specifically-designed programs to meet the energy conservation needs of our members. Home is an in-home audit program where you will receive energy efficient products installed on the spot! Builder offers rebates for "building in" energy efficiency while constructing your new home. Business offers rebates to our commercial customers for replacing their lighting systems with energy efficient lighting. In addition, GVEA can provide information and materials addressing the efficient use of energy. For more information, contact our Member Services Department at 452-1151 or contact us.
GVEA always promotes electrical safety among our members and in the community.
